Tahoe City Rotary - Avenues of Service

One of the major responsibilities of this Service is the support of the Rotary International Foundation through financial support of international projects like Polio Plus, overseas projects, etc.

It also supports the Paul Harris program by encouraging membership enrollment, sponsoring the annual Paul Harris Awards Banquet which honors local non-Rotarians for their community service.

It sponsors the annual Ski Days party for Rotary Youth Exchange students from the Rotary Clubs of District 5190 and 5180.

It also has a long history of supporting in-bound and out-bound high school students to study in a foreign country.

It recruits and supports candidates for the Rotary Ambassadorial scholarships and the Group Rotary Exchanges.
