The North Tahoe High School conducted the 2024 Speech and Music contest with sponsorship from the Rotary Club of Tahoe City
 
The music winner was Dawna Li and the speech was Vallerie Laguna. 
 
Both of them will advance to the Area-3 Contest to be held on 18 April at the Truckee High School.

Robin Cullen was recogized on 5 Dec 2023 as the 2023 Club Rotartain from the Heart

On 5 December 2023 Rotarian Donna Brenner was recogized by our District 5190 Govenor as the club's quite member!

The Rotary Club of Tahoe City formed a golf team and competed in the 2023 District Conference Golf Tournament held on 28 April 2023 at Genoa Lakes Golf Course, Nevada.
 
The format was a 4 person scramble and the Tahoe City Club took first place carding a 69 (3 under par).
 
 
The Tahoe City team consisted from left to right:  Gary Meadville, Dean Norby, Tom Doyle, and Roger Rempfer
Tahoe City Speech and Music Competition is on March 21st at 3 pm at the school.

The cost is $20 for lunch (anything on the breakfast/lunch menu with ice tea) and includes your meal, tax, and tip.

We have Vallerie Laguna from the North Tahoe High School that is going to speak to the club.  She is the winner of the 2024 North Tahoe High School Speech contest and will practice her speech in preparation of the Area 3 competition scheduled for 18 April in Truckee.  We will provide her and a guest a complimentary lunch as a thank you for speaking to the club.
  7.  As a reminder, our next Board of Directors Meeting is scheduled via Zoom from 4:30-6:00pm on 9 April 2024.
